Previously known as the ‘40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian Awards’, the Awards recognise the achievements and leadership of young Asian-Australians across 11 categories:
Each year, we celebrate our Asian Australian Leadership Awards at our Annual Gala Dinner.
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know for the 2025 Asian Australian Leadership Awards, nominations will open around June 2025. Keep an eye out for updates here and on social media.
Nominees must identify as Asian-Australian and be under the age of 40 to be considered for the Awards, except for the Lifetime Achievement category that has an uncapped age limit.
Nominees must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, residing in Australia or abroad, and be aged 40 or under in the year of nomination.
For the Under 25 Rising Star, nominees must be aged 25 or under in the year of nomination.
Awardees are selected by an esteemed judging panel with an award winner for each category and an overall winner.
Category winners and the overall winner are announced at a Gala Dinner in Sydney or Melbourne.
Past winners include barrister Lyma Nguyen; LPGA golfer and 2022 US Women's Open winner Minjee Lee; disability advocate Danny Hui; academic and superstar of STEM Dr Muneera Bano; broadcaster Benjamin Law; educator Eddie Woo, and many more.
